Dr. Zachary Janes
Dr. Zachary K. Janes was born and raised in Springfield, IL. He graduated from Kalamazoo College located in Kalamazoo, MI, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He then attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University where he obtained his Doctorate. He went on to complete his Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with an added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at Advocate Christ Medical Center and Advocate Children’s Hospital located in Oak Lawn, IL, a busy level 1 trauma center serving the southside of Chicago.
During his residency, Dr. Janes was trained in all aspects of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery including wound care, diabetic limb salvage, traumatic injuries to the lower extremity, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, and pediatrics as it relates to the lower extremity. Dr. Janes is Board Qualified in foot and ankle surgery and is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Janes spends his spare time with his friends and family and enjoys swimming, running, traveling, and cooking with an emphasis on plant-based recipes. He is excited to be treating patients throughout the Indianapolis area.
